SBC Field Trip to Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge and Cambridge, MD

11 SBC birders enjoyed a chilly day in Dorchester County, MD. The highlight was close-up views of a King Rail at Blackwater, but the ducks, swans, and snow geese numbers were low due to drought conditions and lingering ice: BNWR eBird checklist

We had good looks at abundant waterfowl in Cambridge at Oakley St. with Lesser Scaup, Mallards, and Wigeons in the majority: eBird checklist for Oakley St.
