Assawoman Wildlife Area March 19

SBC Field Trip to Assawoman WA, March 19, 2025. The weather was mild and the water was like glass. We birded around the observation deck and at Mulberry Point. Ducks were not as plentiful as we've seen in the past, but we recorded 41 bird species in all!: eBird checklist (Assawoman)

After Assawoman we birded along the south jetty at Indian River Inlet. Black Scoters were abundant in the inlet. We also saw several diving Northern Gannets and 2 Harlequin Ducks as well as 15 other species: eBird checklist (Indian River Inlet
